Operations Manager 

Skyline Building Systems specializes in the supply and technical expertise of waterproofing membranes and accessories for decks, balconies, walkways, and many other types of exterior surfaces. As well as EPDM and PVC modular roofing systems. We supply material across North America with warehouses located in Calgary and Connecticut. 

The Operations Manager works out of our Calgary office and is responsible for managing inventory strategy, vendor relationships, and leadership of the Customer Service and Warehouse teams for operational excellence.

What You’ll Own

• 
  

  Provide leadership and management of the warehouse and customer service teams to support optimal operation and performance. 

  
  


• 
  

  Lead inventory planning, forecasting, and execution for all product lines to ensure product availability and performance. 

  
  


• 
  

  Manage procurement coordination, cultivate new and maintain current strong relationships with material and freight suppliers.

  
  


• 
  

  Establish and manage order prioritization protocols to meet client commitments and delivery timelines.

  
  


• 
  

  Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production systems and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and service.

  
  

 What You Bring

• 2–5 years of progressive operations management experience within a warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment. (cross-border Canada/U.S operations experience is preferred)


• 
  

  Advanced Excel skills and experience with a database management systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

  A data-driven mindset with a passion for building efficiency.

  
  


• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.
