Senior Estimator

Thermal Systems is an industrial insulation, building envelope, daylighting, and roofing maintenance sub-contractor operating across Western Canada. We are searching for an Industrial Construction Estimator to join our team.

Can you?

• Prepare and coordinate full-cost estimates for industrial projects including insulation and cladding


• Analyze blueprints, drawings, including P&ID and ISO drawings to accurately prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates


• Effectively communicate with clients and participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project scope


• Collaborate with the project team and other stakeholders to ensure the vision of our projects is maintained


• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes

Do you have?

• 3-5+ years estimating experience


• Journeyman Insulator ticket or hands on industrial construction experience is an asset


• Mechanical Engineering Diploma is an asset


• Ability to travel to site as required


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
