Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Marketing Writer is responsible for developing and executing all marketing communications activities that support the strategic and operating goals of Survalent; collateral (brochures, case studies, white papers etc.), executive presentations, advertising, promotions, event messaging, social media (blog, LinkedIn, etc.), web content, and public relations. Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Research and write content to support email and social campaigns, product launches, sales activities, and event participation
- Create and execute customer references through the development of press releases, case studies, video testimonials, and PowerPoint presentations; maintain library of testimonials for use in other channels
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and the Digital Marketing Manager on the development and execution of an annual marketing communications plan
- Manage and monitor projects to ensure deliverable deadlines and brand standards are met
- Create infographics and diagrams for the Marketing and Request for Proposal (RFP) teams
- Keep internal employees informed by communicating activities as needed
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- University Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Five years of experience leading creation of written content at marketing firm or market research firm, or in a marketing department at a company.
- At least six months of experience creating a range of content for the electric distribution utility market including for websites, social media platforms, video testimonial, eemails, case studies, brochures etc.
Compensation: You will receive an annual salary of $78,000 to $85,000 or approximately or bettween $35.70 and $40.86/hour. You will be entitled to 10 vacation days. You will also be eligible for discretionary salary increases, promotions and bonuses, in accordance with Survalent policies.
