Landscape Foreman
We’re Westwood Landscapes, a fast-growing residential and commercial landscaping for the Vancouver area – we’ve added over 20 employees in the last 3 years. We do hard and soft landscaping, from driveways and patios, to gardens and irrigation systems. Whether you have a plan or need one, we ensure a final product that will make an impact and last for years to come.
We’re growing, and we’re looking for Landscaping Foremen to conduct some amazing work for us.
Working at Westwood Landscapes
We know that we wouldn’t be where we are today without our staff. We have a good group of guys here that support each other through thick and thin. We play as hard as we work: we tend to socialize outside of work.
We’re about being honest and hardworking: we recognize those who show dedication and drive, and will give you additional autonomy and freedom as you gain trust and experience.
This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 40 to 50 hours a week. The starting hourly wage is $25-$35 an hour depending on experience, with a benefits package, a company cellphone, and pickup truck. On top of your salary, the company also has a commission plan that you’ll participate in.
Landscaping Foreman
As a Landscaping Foreman, you and your team will execute our construction projects on the ground. This will involve preparing worksites, moving materials, using hand and power tools, and providing expert garden and landscape consultation to our clients.
From day one, you can use your jobsite experience to manage full projects and turn the plans into a reality with your team.
We’re looking for people who know how to communicate with staff and clients and are capable of running their own show. Most importantly, we want individuals who can lead by example: doing what you say builds a great reputation with your teammates.
Qualifications
- Experience in hard and soft landscaping
- Experience in leading crews of up to five people
- Experience with skid steers and mini excavators
- A Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license
