About the Position:
CPhM is seeking a dynamic Communications Coordinator to manage internal and external communications, media relations, publications, events, and professional presentations. Your primary duties will include:

Content Creation: Collaborate closely with the Communications Specialist on crafting content for CPhM social media channels, website, newsletters, and e-newsletters.

Project Management: Collaborate closely with the Communications Specialist to develop and coordinate strategies, campaigns, events, and educational modules, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.

Data Analytics Tracking: Monitor website and social media analytics to evaluate communication strategies.

Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate and distribute communications to various stakeholders.

Website Maintenance: Oversee website maintenance and updates, including content management, layout adjustments, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Inbox Management: Respond promptly to emails and social media messages.

News Monitoring: Stay up to date on pharmacy regulation news for communication strategy insights.

Digital Design Work: Create visually engaging graphics and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and job experience in a related field.

Knowledge of and experience in a health professions regulatory environment (an asset).

Specific certifications or training related to communications (an asset).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
Working at the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba

Full-Time Schedule: This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Flexible Work Options: A hybrid work model is available.

Occasional Overtime: On occasion, overtime may be required, which will be compensated with time off in lieu.

Occasional Travel and Presentations: There may be occasions where attendance or presentations at other locations are required.
