Merchandising Assistant
We have a unique opportunity for an accomplished Merchandise Assistant. You have the passion and drive to play an intricate role on our buying team. You have the relationship skills to connect with the owners of the business and can be a part of getting the team to the next level.
Your ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and problem solve gets the job done. Your tactful, assertive persona allows you to liaise with all levels of the organization efficiently to make the most of your daily accomplishments.

The goal of this position is to provide outstanding merchandising and buying support to the Buying team.
The Day to Day
- Providing Support for Order Management, Tracking and Maintenance
- Item/SKU Management and Maintenance
- Liaise with Vendors, resolving issues and ensuring compliance
- Support for all Buyer activities and responsibilities
- Prepare Sales, Margins, Inventory and Market data and statistics for Buyers
- Organize and coordinate schedules and meetings
- Data Entry and keeping organized file systems
- Support in resolving, monitoring and managing Inventory Issues, levels and accuracy
- Support in managing Price changes, price files and worksheets
- Your input and feedback on building and developing this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Merchandising Assistant
- Above Average communication skills
- Above Average attention to detail
- Above Average problem solving skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to make decisions with minimal supervision
- Intermediate to advanced functionality in Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in preparing Sales and Marketing data and statistics
