We are looking for a rebar detailer who is ready to do big things with us. We want you.

Rebar Detailer

Your goal in this position is to turn the plans of structural engineers into clear instructions for our rebar fabricators and installers. You’ll use AutoCAD and REBAR CAD to prepare assembly instructions in the form of shop drawings and bar bending schedules. You’ll use 360º Reinforced Concrete Value Engineering to analyze and deliver large projects, solve an array of challenges and make everyone on the project look good. Within the office, you’ll have autonomy to get your job done, and a skilled and supportive team.

The Specifics

This is a full-time permanent position and salary will be commensurate with experience. You’ll work out of our modern executive offices in Oakville, out of the noise and bustle of the shop. We offer a generous benefits package, including LTD and life insurance, and vacation.

Qualifications

• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency


• Experience with rebar and reinforced concrete structures


• Experience with structural design


• Experience learning new software and using it daily


• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in civil engineering
