Administrative Assistant
In this role, you will be one of the pillars that supports our smooth operation. From basic logistics to office services to reception, you will help ensure that our office continues to function on a day-to-day basis.
We are looking for an individual who possesses the following skills and qualities:
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge. A strong background in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) is a must.
- Experience working closely with customers and clients. This role supports the whole business so we want you to have a friendly, outgoing personality and be confident in your abilities to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients in a professional manner.
- Good knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- A basic knowledge of accounting.
- Terrific organizational skills, follow-through and dedication to excellence.
- Ability to take initiative with respect to your responsibilities and prioritize multiple requests while multi-tasking.
- Work well independently and as a member of a team.

Working @ D’Orazio Infrastructure
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm in our friendly and attractive Oakville office. We offer a competitive hourly salary of $15-$17/hour commensurate with experience during a 6 month training and probation period. After a successful training and probationary period, you will be offered full health and wellness benefit package.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience working in an Administrative Assistant role.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience providing exceptional, highly professional client service by phone, e-mail or other written communications.
- Experience working in an administrative role within the construction industry would be an asset.
- Experience in basic accounting (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/HST).
