About the Position
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis is a key strategic finance leader responsible for driving the company's financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analytics functions. This position partners closely with executive leadership to develop financial strategies that support profitable growth, operational excellence, and informed decision-making across the organization.
The Director will lead the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, oversee financial modeling and long-range planning, develop executive and Board reporting, and provide actionable insights that improve financial performance. This role serves as a trusted business partner to leaders across Finance, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership while helping build a scalable FP&A function that supports SCORE Sports' continued growth.

About You

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced financial credential preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years leading high-performing FP&A or finance teams.
- Strong experience supporting executive leadership and Board-level financial reporting.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis expertise.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with operational leaders to drive business performance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with ERP and planning systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance.
- Experience working within a private equity-backed organization strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-entity and multi-country operations; U.S. and Mexico experience highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles across all business functions.
- Develop long-range financial plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Own monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and executive performance reporting.
- Prepare financial packages and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, lenders, and investors.
- Partner with department leaders to develop budgets, monitor spending, and improve financial accountability.
- Provide financial leadership for strategic initiatives, capital investments, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.
- Develop sophisticated financial models to support scenario planning, profitability analysis, and business case evaluations.
- Analyze company performance and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Drive cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis in partnership with Accounting and Operations.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, due diligence activities, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
- Partner with Accounting to ensure consistency between financial reporting, forecasts, and business assumptions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain to improve financial visibility and operational performance.
- Lead the continued development of financial planning systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence capabilities.
- Improve FP&A processes through automation, standardized reporting, and data analytics.
- Establish and monitor company-wide financial and operational KPIs.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to FP&A team members while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the CFO.

Base salary range is $125,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
