Companies big and small, new and old, are turning their attention inward to evaluate how inclusive and diverse they are. Some are ahead of the curve, while others – and you may be in this group – have a lot of work to do. The mountain may seem high to climb.
And because it’s daunting, it can be hard to even start. But the key is to just start. The longer you wait to build a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture, the harder it will be in the future.
At Fitzii, we are doing the hard but important work via our own working JEDI (justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion) working group. We are also targeting under-represented populations in the recruiting work we do by using technology that generates shortlists based on a candidate’s personality, experience, and overall fit for a company’s particular culture.
