SilverChef helps businesses in the hospitality industry meet their equipment-purchasing needs by offering rental and lease solutions through our network of relationships with equipment dealers. SilverChef is looking for a Dealer Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of accounts in Toronto as part of the Eastern Canada Sales Team.
This role requires someone with a keen passion for Business Development. You will be expected to manage an existing portfolio of business clients while also looking at growing your client base. You will be provided with hands-on training and be surrounded by a team supporting you in driving your territory’s growth. This opportunity is for someone with a sales background who has managed a portfolio of accounts before. The individual we are looking for will have a track record of establishing solid business relationships and is looking to build a long-term career with an awesome company!

More About the Role:
Reporting into the Vice President, Sales – Eastern Canada, this position involves a high level of business development and communication skills. Your business clients will require support, thus requiring an individual that has strong account-management skills to meet the demands of this role. You will be expected to achieve sales targets by increasing our brand’s reach within our existing client base, converting new sales leads for the region, and developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Specifically, your role will include:
- Developing strong relationships with equipment dealers and hospitality business owners (the latter are the end users of our financing solutions)
- Generating new sales from existing dealer partners
- Encourage and train our dealer network to have regular conversations around equipment financing with their hospitality clients
- Identifying new opportunities in the marketplace; whether they be new dealer partners or new hospitality-business owners
- Assist end users who require information and help about financing their equipment purchases
- Handling and managing sales leads and pipeline in your territory using Salesforce
- Manage a portfolio of existing dealers. Deliver professional and timely responses to all Customer Experience issues in line with our service standards
- Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating effectively with the team; regularly updating them on any roadblocks or outcomes
- Submit reports & analyse data
Skills to Thrill
- 2+ years of experience as a sales professional
- A driven sales professional with a track record of closing deals
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills including the ability to liaise, advise and interact well with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills including effective planning of sales activities
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills, including great presentation skills and the ability to get engagement from our partners
- Team player with energy, flexibility, and integrity
- Sound computer literacy skills.
- Salesforce knowledge and experience considered an asset.
- Experience in equipment financing, vehicle-financing, or hospitality-equipment sales is an asset but not required
- Experience as a SME Commercial Account Manager or advisor is an asset but not required
