Position Summary

The Product Manager, Mobile App & Data reports to the Chief Product & Data Officer and defines and drives the success of Mamava’s mobile apps experience and data-driven products and services. This role blends strategic insight with executional excellence: shaping product vision, identifying new digital and data opportunities. The Product Manager aligns customer needs, business goals, and technology capabilities to create cohesive, high-impact experiences that extend Mamava’s mission supporting parents, empowering partners, and enriching the data and insights that fuel growth.

This is a salaried, full time position based in Burlington, VT with a hybrid office schedule.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define what Mamava’s mobile apps and data products should achieve and why, aligning product vision with business strategy, user needs, and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead market analysis, customer research, and competitive assessments to inform product strategy, roadmap, and value propositions.

  • Own the success of assigned products, driving adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Develop and communicate a multi-quarter roadmap for mobile app, data tools, and analytics products that support the lactation and adjacent categories.

  • Create and present business cases, KPIs  linking product investments to Mamava’s strategic goals.

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, data partnerships, and technology integrations that enhance Mamava’s ecosystem.

Execution & Delivery Management

  • Translate product vision into actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

  • Own and prioritize the mobile app and data product backlogs to maximize customer and business value.

  • Partner with executives, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and customers to define direction and launch plans for new features and services.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, UX/UI designer, and QA to ensure timely delivery of impactful features and releases.

  • Define and monitor sprint goals, ensuring alignment between business objectives and engineering output.

  • Manage backlog health, sprint predictability, and delivery velocity, continuously optimizing processes for efficiency and clarity.

  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), release documentation, and internal training to ensure smooth launches and cross-team readiness.

  • Support implementation and data infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of new tools, dashboards, and user experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work closely with the Chief Product & Data Officer and other Product Managers to ensure alignment across physical, digital, and data product lines.

  • Partner with Engineering, Data, Design, Marketing, specifically, the Product Marketing Manager, and Operations to ensure synchronized roadmaps and go-to-market readiness.

  • Collaborate with the Data & Insights team to translate analytics needs into product features that improve business intelligence and customer experience.

  • Act as the voice of the customer within the mobile apps and data development process, ensuring all solutions are intuitive, inclusive, and data-secure.

  • Run product innovation efforts through Mamava’s stage-gate process, from concept to launch

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure product performance, adoption, and impact on user experience and business outcomes.

  • Gather feedback from users, partners, and stakeholders to inform continuous improvement and roadmap decisions

  • Champion data-driven decision-making and use of analytics dashboards across the organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5–7 years of product management experience with mobile app or data-focused products, ideally in SaaS, IoT, or connected-device environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategies that achieve measurable business results.

  • Experience managing mobile app product roadmaps, user experience design processes, and data lifecycle management.

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with BI or analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, DBT, or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional and executive teams.

  • Experience in agile development environments, including backlog management and sprint execution.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in wellness, healthcare, or consumer technology industries.

  • Familiarity with privacy, accessibility, and compliance standards for digital products and data systems.

  • Understanding of API-based integrations, data architecture, and the role of product analytics in growth strategies.

  • Passion for mission-driven work that supports families, care, and inclusion.

Salary: $122000 – $132000
