Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: Full-time (minimum 40 hours per week), salaried compensation and benefits including Simple IRA, health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible work schedule, and generous paid time off.

See3 is looking for a creative and results-driven strategic leader to deliver marketing and communications solutions through high-quality digital products and consulting to our non-profit clients.

Principal Roles & Responsibilities
Collaboration and Culture

Contribute to a positive, collaborative, fun, and entrepreneurial working environment that is consistent with See3 culture and values

Possess subject matter expertise regarding the strategic use of digital communications
Digital Strategy
-
Act as strategic lead on See3 client projects (including marketing and communications plans and campaigns, web, video, and personalized video)

Under the guidance of the Chief Innovation Officer, utilize See3’s POSTER process (People, Objectives, Strategies/Storytelling, Tools and Tactics, Evaluation, Repeat) consistently, and to a high degree of quality, with each client as is appropriate to each project

People: collaborate with clients to help them deeply understand their target audiences

Objectives: ensure clients are setting appropriate goals, metrics, and KPIs, consistent with their mission and the scope of the project

Host and facilitate workshops, live and online, to collaboratively determine these elements with the client

Strategies/Storytelling: work with clients to capture and share powerful stories and develop compelling messaging that will engage their audiences to reach their goals

Alongside a Digital Marketing Project Manager, participate in weekly client meetings to teach that week’s course based on the See3 curriculum, assign homework to clients, and review previous work

Work with the CIO to determine and implement the most impactful additional insight-gathering required to complete the project to a high degree of quality

Tools and Tactics: recommend tools and tactics best suited to enact those strategies to reach their goals with the target audience

Evaluation: follow up with clients to evaluate the success of projects, communicate ROI and related analytics to measure the progress of stated objectives, make recommendations, and identify emerging opportunities

Repeat: in conjunction with the CIO and COO, identify and recommend opportunities for ongoing engagement

Demonstrate excellent content writing and editing skills through ongoing client and project communication

Conduct effective stakeholder interviews, analysis of client materials, and draw insights from external research to inform strategy

Demonstrate excellent listening, interpretation, and interpersonal skills in client relationships

Escalate client issues in a timely and professional manner to the Chief Operating Officer
Supporting Roles & Responsibilities
Membership and Mastermind Support
-
Support the CIO in the creation and development of materials for See3 Mastermind Groups and Membership as needed
-
Keep up-to-date on digital, nonprofit, and marketing trends, both to share with clients and to inform See3’s work
Digital Marketing and Communications
-
Work collaboratively with other business units to deliver high-quality digital products and services, including digital strategy, content, marketing and communications plans, website design and development, evaluation and data analysis, and video production

Demonstrate an understanding of the design and development process for web, digital marketing strategies, campaigns, content strategy, and video
Process Improvements
-
Contribute to refinement of See3 processes for service delivery and execution, project management, and client support.
Marketing, Sales, and Business Development
-
Support new business development by contributing to project proposals and reviewing estimates, and devising solutions when needed.

Passion for emerging digital, mobile, social, and video technologies and trends.
-
Occasionally attend and promote See3 at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 4 years experience in an agency, nonprofit, or social cause organization

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication.
-
Ability to incorporate measurable performance of project work to clients through analytics, KPIs, and ROI
-
Effective time management and organizational skills.
-
Proven ability to prioritize, follow-up, and deliver solutions.
-
Experience using project management tools such as Basecamp, Slack, Trello, Asana, etc. preferred.

Experience in using Google apps (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) in a professional environment
-
Possess an understanding of the unique culture of nonprofits.

Ability to travel on behalf of business (approximately 15-20 days per year).

Enthusiasm about working effectively with ethnically and racially diverse populations.
